This project involved the construction of a fully automatic water flow swimming pool at the United Nations Assistance Mission for Iraq headquarters within the International (Green) Zone in Baghdad. The swimming pool was constructed with overall dimensions of 30 meters in length and 10 meters in width, with a maximum depth of 2.20 meters, and was designed and executed using a continuous water flow system to ensure optimal circulation and water quality. The pool was fully automated and equipped with an advanced control system based on a PLC platform, allowing precise monitoring and control of all operational functions. The mechanical and electrical systems included electrically actuated components and automatic control valves to regulate water flow, filtration, and operational sequences. A dedicated balance tank was constructed and integrated into the system to maintain water level stability and ensure smooth and efficient operation under all conditions. All construction, mechanical, electrical, and automation works were executed in accordance with international standards and United Nations specifications, ensuring high levels of safety, reliability, and operational efficiency within a high-security environment.
