This project involved the construction of a septic tank and the installation, commissioning, and testing of a United Nations–provided Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) system at the UNAMI Transport Workshop Compound located within the Green Zone, Baghdad. The scope of work included civil construction activities, mechanical and electrical installation, system integration, and full operational testing of the WWTP to ensure compliance with UN technical specifications, environmental standards, and operational requirements. All works were executed in accordance with applicable international engineering standards, UN safety and environmental guidelines, and stringent security protocols governing operations within the Green Zone. The completed system provides a reliable and environmentally compliant wastewater management solution supporting the operational needs of UNITAD facilities.
